MUTUAL NORM
The Mutual Norm project was started in 2016 in collaboration with print artist Weng Cho Ray.
The project aims to recreate a common value as a norm between art, fashion and, people. Emphasizing re-creating the value in what we wear, Mutual Norm is a return to the appreciation of the uniqueness and craftsmanship of clothing. The re-evaluation will be processed through a series of wearable art pieces.
Mutual Norm invites one artist to create an art piece on a 10 meters of fabric for each collection. From this art piece, a designer will make one style out of it, creating a collection that includes several individual, unique, wearable art.
